How Do You Do Half Head Of Highlights

Our military presence in Afghanistan IS part of the problem - Not the solution

An editorial (in English) in The New Statesman which explains why the government of Gordon Brown is wrong to want to continue a war that claimed 196 victims on the British side (and god knows how many dead Afghan side) - a war which even the highest ranking military say they can not win.

I have two reviews only. Why the author claims there that the government set a date for withdrawing troops, instead of an immediate withdrawal? And why this "we" and what "our troops"? This war is theirs, not ours.
