Col Lakes Black Aiguilles Rouges. July 2006
Another way to discover the beautiful Black Lakes site, located in the heart of the Aiguilles Rouges. Initially the lift of the Index, the valley of the Gliere, then the Col de la Gliere, or we leave the path to rock back in a hallway, then a ridge facing the spectacular Mont Blanc, reaching Pass Lakes Black, above lakes, or s gathers a crowd, not us ... Another route that combines well-maintained trails, walkways, equipped and off trail. Meeting
almost assured with Etagnes * black lakes, and often also with * ptarmigan.
Passage du col de la Gliere, which crosses the crest of the Aiguilles Rouges and the landscape opens on Lake Cornu, and beyond, the wild valley of the Diosaz (pronounced Dios) and the massive limestone walls of Fiz, who announced the Pre-Alps. Passage without any real difficulty, but still demand attention, and most importantly, has avoided absolutely by stormy weather, as the whole massif elsewhere ...
Universe mineral of the valley of the Gliere (still threatened by bulimia destructive equipment to ski resorts , lifts local flora ...), altitude Alpine toadflax, tansy, buttercup ... And discovery of mountain lakes of the Aiguilles Rouges, Lac Cornu, lakes and blacks. A very nice hike for walkers trained and able to evolve in off-trail terrain sometimes rocky. The views on the Mont-Blanc is superb ...
